Richard H. Buchholz

Caneadea --- Richard H. Buchholz of 7806 State Route 243 died Saturday, March 22, 2014 in Jones Memorial Hospital.  He was born on September 5, 1941 in Warsaw, a son of the late Robert and Doris Reese Buchholz.  On September 5, 1970 he married Wanda Robinson who survives.

Mr. Buchholz was a US Army Veteran and served from 1960 to 1962.  He was also a lifetime member of the Houghton Fire Company.

Surviving in addition to his wife are six sons, Richard Buchholz of Caledonia, Michael (Mary) Buchholz of Friendship, Christopher (Katie) Buchholz of Grove City, Ohio, David (Michelle) Buchholz of Westerville, Ohio, Wayne Buchholz of Caneadea, Steven (Jessica) Buchholz of Belfast, 20 grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a brother, Robert Buchholz Jr. of Batavia, four sisters, Roberta Lohmer of Warsaw, Racene (David) Pragile of Warsaw, Rosemary (Steven) Schum of Attica, Rebecca Buchholz of Derby, Vermont and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a memorial service will follow at 7:00.
