Arcade---Frank W. Mauerman of 285 Skyview Dr., died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville. He was born on July 20, 1923 in Orchard Park, a son of the late Stephen and Gertrude Harris Mauerman. He married Dorothy Fiegl who predeceased him and later married Marilyn Albauch who survives.

He was an Army Veteran of WWII and known by many people as the candy man.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Linda Noon of Fillmore, Pam (Don) Learn of Centerville, Becky (Mike) Relyea of Freedom, Wendy (Kevin) Curry of Houghton, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a step-daughter, Del-Linda Alfonso of Florida and many nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his first wife, he was predeceased by a son-in-law, Michael Noon Sr., a daughter, Darlene Schweickert, two brothers, William, Robert and a sister, Gertrude Miller.

A gathering will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21` N. Genesee Street, Fillmore. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery.

I will miss you very much. I loved Frank very much he was more of a brother to me. Wait for me at the door. I will miss you so so much love all my time god bless you and Lord please take care of Frank. I will keep all of his family in my prayers. May the lord bless his family at this time.

I know you can see this from Heaven so I want you to know how much all of your Angel Girls loved you and will miss you dearly! So many memories to remember and fun times. Say hello to all up there and I will see you some day knowing your pain is gone now. We will miss you but your probably telling some more of your jokes as you always did and are passing out candy. Good Bye for now Dad. Love you!!!

Sorry for your loss .We could go on and on about the things Uncle Frank did any one of us at any given time but there is not enough space.He was a ANGEL here with us but now will continue from up above us. Love from Janette ,Danny and our families .

What a guy! I will always treasure those phone calls from Frank from time to time, just to tell me how much he appreciated me. What a privilege to have known him all of these years. I pray for God's supernatural comfort to be especially real in each heart of his beautiful family. God bless you all!
