I am so sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a teenager, and good friend of my brother's when I was a child growing up in Houghton, N.Y. Such a nice man. He will be missed.

Gladys,
Memories of Houghton College days together are in my thoughts
as you say good-bye to your life's partner. May you feel God's
love and peace surrounding you today.

I am most sorry about John's passing. I just heard about it from Ted Retajczyk who also worked with John. I worked in the same Lab Directorate as John for many years at Bell Labs in Murray Hill. He was a brilliant scientist and we had many most interesting talks during work and at lunch. He is in my prayers as he brings back such fond memories of our days at the Labs.
