Dale John Beardsley

Hunt---Dale John Beardsley of 5373 Bowen-Eldridge Road, died Sunday April 27, 2014 in his home. He was born on April 23, 1945 in Fillmore, a son of John and Genevieve Voss Beardsley. He married Diane Bovee who survives.

Mr. Beardsley served thirty years as a federal technician for the Army National Guard.

Surviving in addition to his mother of Short Tract, are his wife, a daughter, Lynn Marie (Lloyd) Kirwan of Nunda, a son, David (Tina) Beardsley of Short Tract, brothers and sisters, Linda (Bernie) Brandt of Allen, Nancy (Bruce) Osborn of Short Tract, Thomas (Deborah) Beardsley of Short Tract, sister-in-law, Melody Cox Beardsley of Short Tract, Brenda (Randy) Mueckl of Hunt, Robin (Janine) Beardsley of Short Tract, Cindy Perry of Mt. Morris, sixty two nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother, Reuben Paul Beardsley.

Family and friends may gather at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11:00 am in the Short Tract Fire Hall. Ben Beardsley, Dale’s nephew will officiate. Full military honors will be accorded by members of American Legion Post No. 1155 of Fillmore.
