Just learned of this news. Sending my condolences to the family on the passing of Ms Powers. She and her sister provided transportation to any Catholic student attending Houghton College. I was so grateful for their generosity to us, only a few of us during my time there, 1978-1982, and have remembered them all these years.
Eternal rest grant unto her O Lord, and let perpetual Light shine upon her. She is now in God's warm embrace.
