Memories of my Auntie Grace: She always called me Kitty Rae when was little...and later just “Kit.” She made the best homemade vanilla ice cream EVER! And also a fantastic chocolate chip cake, and her chocolate chip cookies always tasted better than my mom's for some reason. When I was little, she always sent a birthday card to me with a whole DOLLAR inside! I felt very special. She was always at school if we ever needed anything. When my mom forgot to come to the Nat'l Honor Society event when I was inducted, Grace called her and got her there ASAP! My locker was right outside Mr. Swales' door so you know I had to BEHAVE in between classes and that was fine with me. It was always great knowing my aunt was one of the school secretaries. Somehow that made me feel safer. And now she is meeting up with all those other wonderful souls that mean so much to us. God speed, Auntie Grace. Christine Talbott
