Arcade --- Walter Myron Francis of 37 Aristo Terrace and a former resident of Rushford died Monday, December 18th, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital following open heart surgery and pulmonary complications. He was born on June 20, 1937 in the town of New Hudson, a son of the late Norman and Marjorie Baker Francis Sr. He married Joyce Burdick who survives.

Walt had a passion for attending sporting events to watch both his kids and ultimately his grandkids and great-grandchildren compete.

Walt enjoyed attending Dirt Track races with Joyce and rooting on the Buffalo Bills. On any given Saturday you would find Walt cleaning and polishing his current car to perfection.

Was sorry to see Walter's obituary today. Our moms were good friends, and
Walter and I went through Rushford Central School together. Good memories
that go back a long way. My thoughts and prayers are with Joyce and the family.

I was the youngest Foss sister and was a classmate of Melvin. Marjorie had all boys and our mother had all girls. Many family memories as I look back. Thoughts and prayers for the Francis family.

He was a Bills fan (he took me for money) and a great poker player. I played every Tuesday with him. He'll be missed.
