I'm so sorry that Mel is gone. It's been too many years since I last saw him. He is family; extended or not. Us kids, cousins, always had so much fun when you came to visit your Maine family. Time goes by, the gaps get wider and we miss so much. I wish we could get it back. For those of us still here; let's try to get reconnected. My family and I are keeping you all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love to all, Anita (Pelkey) Colson

Syd, To you and all of your family, you have my sincerest condolences. Mel and I were good friends for many many years. Even had a beer or two! He was a great person, and helped me out of a lot of problems (water) over the years. He will be missed by all. Love you guys dearly.

Bob
