My heart goes out to all my Aunts and Uncles and Pat at this difficult time. I wanted to share one memory I had with grandpa. My family and I came back for a visit during the 4th of July and grandpa took me into his chicken coop. I about died at the smell and grandpa and my dad almost feel over from laughter at me so hard! My last visit grandpa go to meet my oldest son and loved showing him around his farm. But the best part was when I saw grandpa give my dad a big hug and thank us all for coming back for his birthday that year!

Earliest memories are working on the farm driving tractors at about seven years old and milking cows.  Family get-togethers were playing hearts and canasta that dad taught us.  Summers beside haying included a week at the fair showing cattle, being in the parade as part of the 4-H float and doing 4-H demonstrations.  I loved bringing my wife, then our daughter and then our grandson to meet you, dad.  Glad you are now with the Lord in a better place.
