Posted by: Diane Emmons Sat January 07, 2017 | I regret that I will not be able to attend the visitation for Mrs. Chamberlain. Although I didn't know her well I have heard about her love for her students at Fillmore School. My closest contact with Mrs. Chamberlain came when I taught her granddaughter and grandson at Belfast Central. Audra, you have a very special place in my memory. May God comfort all of your family at this sad time.

Posted by: Richard/Lee Yanda Sun January 08, 2017 | So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. We have many fond memories of her and one in particular: Betty went to Ralph (the Elementary Principal) and asked him to "get with the times" and allow the female elementary teachers to wear pants. He said that pant suits were ok, but after about a year of that, "anything goes" became the dress code.
We really enjoyed working with her and socializing with her. Our prayers go out to the family and friends that will dearly miss her. |
Posted by: Jennifer Morgan Sun January 08, 2017 | I am so sorry to see Aunt Betty go, but thankful for the relief from her pain. She was a very special person in my life and I will truly miss our visits. She always had a smile and was so very interesting to spend time with. May God comfort you with His presence through this difficult time. |

Posted by: Richard Rudolph, 414 Akron Rd., Akron, NY 14001 Sat January 14, 2017 | So sorry to hear of Betty's passing. She was a dear cousin, and I remember many happy times playing together when we were children. I was hoping to come to her funeral but it didn't work out for me. I would love to give my condolences to her dear family, even though I did not know any of her children personally. I do remember her brother-in-law, Bob Herget and sister-in-law, Ellen Waite. I'm 91 and doing well but was unable to attend her funeral - my sympathy to all her loved one. God Bless. |
