To the Luckey family:

I will always remember coming to Hume with my family from Cuba in the 50's and 60's to visit Uncle Bev and Aunt Betty. The dinners we had at their house were always great! My late brother Llewellyn or Lynn as Betty always called him, and I had a lot of fun playing together with our cousins. I saw Aunt Betty last year at the family reunion and it was really nice to see her again. Terry Bump in Bremerton, Washington.

To the family of Betty.  I knew her well when I lived in Fillmore, and know she will be missed by all.  She was a wonderful lady, and always had a kind word and smile.  May she rest in peace, and all of you have my sincerest condolences.

To Betty's family,

We extend our deepest sympathy to you.  We remember Aunt Betty well from our childhood trips to Hume.  It was fun to visit her house and see her backyard garden and do visiting.  The reunions of the Gleason extended family in nearby parks were a frequent highlight. Bonnie looked forward to her trips back to Hume to see her sister (-in-law) and her sister's children and grandchildren.  In her later years, Bonnie enjoyed Betty's emails with news from the 'hometown'.
