A. Elizabeth (Robb) Mills

Conway, S.C. --- A. Elizabeth "Betty" Mills, 97, of Conway, SC, passed away January 11, 2017. She was born on September 6, 1919 in Gallitzin, PA, a daughter of the late Rev. Charles and Esther Meyer Robb. She married Rev. James H., Mills Jr. who predeceased her.

She served with Rev. Mills in churches in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland for more than 50 years. Following Rev. Mills' passing, Mrs. Mills moved to Conway, SC to live near her daughter.

She loved to prepare meals for family and friends, and never missed the birthday of any of her children, grandchildren or great-grandchildren right up until her last days. She was beloved by her family and the many people she came into contact with while serving in the ministry with her husband.

Mrs. Mills loved her family and her pets.

Surviving are her children Elizabeth Ann (Valgene) Dunham of Conway, SC; James C. (Linda) Mills Sr. of Hampton NH; Ruth Ann Mills of Shreve, OH; Philip (Cynthia) Mills of Appalachia, NY. six grandchildren, Lisa Harris, James C. Mills Jr., Michelle Gauthier, Courtney Rourke, Ryan Mills, Philip Mills Jr., seven great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by her brother, John Robb, two sisters, Naomi Cook and Alma Dunstan and a granddaughter, Melissa Mills.

A graveside service will be held in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery at a later date.
