Nunda --- Ella M. Lockwood of 1757 Route 436 died Friday, March 4, 2016 in the Teresa House of Geneseo. She was born on September 13, 1929 in Franklinville, a daughter of the late Albert and Gladys Byron Carmer. She married Clifford Lockwood who survives.
Ella was a member of the Dalton Assembly of God.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two sons, Terry (Cindy) Lockwood of Henrietta, Tim (Merrie) Lockwood of Rexville, five grandchildren, Joshua Lockwood, Matthew Copenhaver, Dori Copenhaver, Shane (Rebecca Vancise) Lockwood, Vince Lockwood, a great-grandchild, Ember Lockwood, a sister, Irene (Gene) Hennard of Short Tract, a close friend, Vera Levey of Mt. Morris and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two brothers, three sisters, one pair of twins and a granddaughter.
Family and friends may gather from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Monday, March 7, 2016 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 3:00 p.m. Richard Hepler, Pastor of the Dalton Assembly of God, will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract.
