Arcade---Frank W. Mauerman of 285 Skyview Dr., died Thursday, October 9, 2014 in Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville. He was born on July 20, 1923 in Orchard Park, a son of the late Stephen and Gertrude Harris Mauerman. He married Dorothy Fiegl who predeceased him and later married Marilyn Albauch who survives.
He was an Army Veteran of WWII and known by many people as the candy man.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his children, Linda Noon of Fillmore, Pam (Don) Learn of Centerville, Becky (Mike) Relyea of Freedom, Wendy (Kevin) Curry of Houghton, twelve grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a step-daughter, Del-Linda Alfonso of Florida and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his first wife, he was predeceased by a son-in-law, Michael Noon Sr., a daughter, Darlene Schweickert, two brothers, William, Robert and a sister, Gertrude Miller.
A gathering will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 4:00 pm at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21` N. Genesee Street, Fillmore. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery.
