Fillmore---Grace M. Knibloe of 5613 Co. Rd. 4, passed away on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Jones Memorial Hospital, Wellsville. She was born on September 13, 1921 in the Town of Caneadea, a daughter of the late Glenn and Nellie Smith Talbott. On April 2, 1947 on Dutch Hill, she married Keith M. Knibloe who survives.
Grace was a graduate at RBI in Wellsville and had been secretary for Angelica and Fillmore Central Schools. She was a member of the former Hume United Methodist Church and its UMW, now Friends in Christ United Methodist Church and directed the Swiss steak dinners for the church for many years.
She was a member of the History Club, the 50 plus reunion and loved to travel and ride on the Knibloe balloon.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a son, Douglas (Maribeth) Knibloe of Fillmore, four granddaughters, Stacey Knibloe of Lancaster, Jennifer Knibloe (Josh Gross) of Rushville, Marianne Knibloe (Robert Whisker) of Lancaster, Melissa (Jon) Saulter of Rushford, nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, James Talbott and a sister, Ellen Neamon.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Sunday September 10, 2017 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where funeral services will be held on Monday September 11, 2017 at 11:00 am. Pastor Nancy Russell will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
