Fillmore---Mabel K. Arnold of 9760 Council House Road, died September 28, 2016 in Cuba Memorial Hospital Palliative Care. She was born on October 16, 1937 in Centerville, a daughter of the late Frederick and Anna Wilcox Kruppner. On October 6. 1956 in the Caneadea United Methodist Church she married Arthur Arnold who survives.
Mabel was a graduate of Belfast Central School, attended the Caneadea United Methodist Church, sang in the choir and was a member of the Caneadea Grange.
She was a former employee of the Perry knitting Mill, Fillmore Market Basket and for several years was a cook in the cafeteria at Fillmore Central School. Mabel also helped on the family farm for many years.
She loved her kids, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and family events. She liked to bowl, dance, country music, sewing and embroidering.
Surviving in addition to her husband are a daughter, Rhonda (John) Morse of Rushford, a son Brian (Marge) Arnold of Fillmore, six grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore, where funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 2:00 pm. Art McElheny will officiate and burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Fillmore.
