Marjorie (Caner) Cole

Rushford---Marjorie Cole of 9012 Lewellen Street, died Sunday November 16, 2014 in Olean General Hospital.  She was born on March 21, 1921 in Rushford a daughter of the late George and Agnes Moseley Caner. She married Greydon Cole who predeceased her on June 29, 1983.

Marjorie loved her Lord and Savior and used to attend the Rushford Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher for a period of time. She had been a book keeper for several Allegany County Townships and was also an avid reader.

Surviving are a two sons, Gregory (Rebecca) Cole and Grayson Cole, both of Rushford, a son-in-law, Gregory Liddy of Carneys Point, NJ, five grandchildren, Sean Smith of N.Y. City, Jason (Cesia) Smith of Kentucky, Jessica (Alton) Timbers of Winchester, VA., Alicia (Todd) Brooks of New Hudson, Stephanie (Scott) Grabowski of Lyndon, and eight great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a daughter, Marjann Liddy on Feb. 15, 2002.

A private funeral service will be held at Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore. The Rev. Jonathan Finley, pastor of the Rushford Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford.
