Penny Walt Obituary

 

Batavia --- Penny D. Walt of 115 Summit Street died Monday, November 16, 2015 in her home. She was born on March 21, 1969 in Cuba, a daughter of the late Clyde C. and Dorothy Dash Walt.

 

Penny was a graduate of Fillmore Central School. She enjoyed event planning and fund raising for various charities.

 

Surviving is a daughter, Haley E. Walt-Buonomo of Cuba, five sisters, Nancy (Mike) Makowski of Fillmore, Barbara Kozma of Olean, Lori (Steve) Dougherty of Cuba, Sherri (Dave) Hunt of Caneadea, Donna (Carl) Beil of Cuba and many loved nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Clyde Charles Walt Jr. on February 3, 2007.

 

Family and friends may gather from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2015 and from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Larry Russell, Pastor of the Caneadea United Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Alger Cemetery, Fillmore.
