Canisteo --- Robert C. Brown of 3089 County Route 119 died, Sunday, May 4, 2014 in New York City.  He was born on July 14, 1960 in Owosso, MI, a son of Robert and Carol Thomas Brown.

Bob was a graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1979 and he attended Houghton College. He was Vice President of Sivko Fur Inc. tannery for taxidermy. He was very active on the taxidermy industry website taxidermy.net and well known in many state taxidermy associations.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his loving companion, Ann Farkas of Canisteo, his children, Alexandra Farkas of Canisteo, , Tiffany Warn of Hawaii, Justin Brown of Rochester, three sisters, Carolyn Hale of Erin, TN, Christy Warenken of North Augusta, SC, Jennifer Nesbit of Melbourne, FL, and several nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Dr. Clifford and Katherine Thomas and James and Mary Brown.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at 3:00 at the Houghton Wesleyan Church Rt. 19 in Houghton.  Rev. Dr. Wesley Oden will officiate.
