Alvin M. Voss

Short Tract --- Alvin M. "Sonny" Voss of 9876 Luckey Drive and a former resident of Short Tract died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Absolut at Houghton Nursing Home. He was born on April 14, 1929 in the Town of Granger, a son of the late Morris and Ruth VanDusen Voss.

Sonny worked for the Town of Granger for 48 years and after his retirement he enjoyed driving, listening to country western, talking and telling jokes to anyone. He also enjoyed working for the local carnival for several years.

Surviving are his children, Terry (Lisa) Voss, Pamela Voss, Todd (Brenda) Voss, Tim (Pam) Voss, Tom (Tammy) Voss all of Short Tract, 18 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, a sister, Bonnie Rissinger of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Pastor William Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery.
