Beverly Jean Block

Hume --- Beverly J. Block, a former resident of Hinsdale and Hume, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. She was born on February 6, 1939 in Cuba, a daughter of the late Leonard and Norma Brandes Haskins. She married George Block who predeceased her in 2017.

Bev loved cooking, reading, all types of animals, especially cats but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are her sons, Tobin (Claudia) Keeler of Fillmore, Todd Keeler of Belmont, four grandchildren, Tobin (April) Keeler Jr., Naomi Keeler, Justin (Jen) Keeler, Magen Keeler and six great-grandchildren, Gwyn, Noelle, Carter, Mya, Hannah, Colin; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 at 1:00 pm in Riverside Cemetery, Belfast. Roger Loomis, Bev’s cousin, will officiate.
