Hume---Candace “Candy” Brown of 7039 Liberty Street, died Saturday, April 19, 2015 in Select Specialty Hospital in Erie, Pa. She was born on April 3, 1944 in Niagara Falls, a daughter of the late Irving and Marion Heinrich O’Neill. She married Gerald “Jerry” Brown who survives.
Prior to retiring, Candy had been a supervisor for Prestolite in Arcade. She enjoyed her cats, dogs, gardening and her family. She was also an environmentalist.
Surviving are two sons, Andrew (Paris) Marino of Franklinville, Louis (Kelly) Marino of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, two daughters, Amy (Scott) Veley and Melinda (Tory) Rounds, both of Angelica, five granddaughters, one grandson, a sister, Judy (Bruce) Bailey of Dansville, a brother, Charles (Mary) O’Neill of Bradenton, Florida and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by a brother, Michael O’Neill.
Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Friday April 24, 2015 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore, where funeral services will be held on Sat. April 25, 2015 at 11:00 am The Rev. James Stevens will officiate.
