Angelica --- Charles E. McCarthy Jr. of 9642 Old State Road died, Saturday, August 5, 2017 in Buffalo General Hospital. He was born on August 31, 1954 in Nunda, a son of the late Charles Edmund and Gladys Bundy McCarthy.

He loved horses, changing tires and being around the family campsite.

Surviving are his sisters, Deborah (Doug) Wilson of Kenmore, Carol McCarthy of Perrysburg, a brother, Eugene (Raquel) McCarthy of Angelica and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded by two brothers Edmund and Patrick, two sisters, Mary McCarthy Cartwright, Jane Ann McCarthy Sznajder and a brother in law, Clarence Cartwright.

Family and friends may gather from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, Fillmore. Fr. Dennis JJ Mancuso will be celebrant. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery, Fillmore.
