Charlotte M. (Powell) Woodin

Farmersville Station --- Charlotte M. Woodin of 9948 State Route 243 died Wednesday, January 29, 2020 in Olean General Hospital. She was born on March 14, 1927 in East Aurora, a daughter of the late Ernest and Dorothy Dennis Powell. She married Joseph L. Woodin who predeceased her on July 2, 1990.

Charlotte formerly attended the Centerville United Methodist Church and was a member of the former Cuba Polka dot CB Club.

She enjoyed bingo, bird watching, bowling, sitting around the bonfire, planting flowers and most of all spending time with her friends and family.

Surviving are her sons, Ross (Francis) Woodin, Leith Brueser both of Famersville Station, a grandson, Karol Woodin, a granddaughter, Angelena Dimpfl, two close family friends, Stephen Glor and Michael Schneider both of Farmersville Station, her siblings, Pearl “Shorty” Coyle of Williamsville, Ernestine Buchannan of Pennsylvania, Arlene Sharp of Maine, Barb Woodin of Franklinton, NC, Robert Carey Powell of West Clarksville, a brother-in-law, Earl Sturtevant of Gasport and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Joe Woodin.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 8, 2020 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Wesley Oden, pastor of the Houghton Wesleyan Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Christian Church Cemetery, Franklindale, PA.
