Cynthia Marie White

Santee, SC --- Cynthia ″Cindy″ White of 343 Pinewood Drive and former resident of Fillmore, N.Y. died suddenly in her home on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2014. She was born on July 26, 1953 in Warsaw, N.Y. a daughter of the late Joseph and Alice Witt Tonaus. On March 10, 1973 in Pike, N.Y.  she married Richard White who survives.

Cindy was a graduate of Fillmore Central School and was a graduate of the BOCES  Practical Nursing course. She was employed at St. George House and Rehab in South Carolina.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are two daughters, Laurie (Kevin) Abbatessa of Orchard Park, Kathleen Gleason of Little Genesee, five grandchildren, two sisters, Patricia (Harold) Thompson of New Haven, Conn., and Beverly (Dana) Beardsley-Thomas of Freedom and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a brother, Larry Tonaus on March 5, 2011.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 20, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore.  Fr. Vincent Becker will be celebrant. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
