Short Tract --- Daniel Albert Edward “Polock” Pelcher of 11879 County Road 15 passed away on December 21, 2022 in his home. He was born on March 19, 1944 in Rochester, a son of the late Anthony and Edna Perlowski Pelcher. He married Sherry Harder who survives.
Dan grew up in Rochester until he later moved to Hunt in the 1960s where he started a small farm. He attended St. Stanislav’s and Franklin High school.
Daniel set pins at the Holy Redeemer Church bowling alley and then in 1968 he was employed at General Motors in Rochester where he was employed until 1997.
During his free time he enjoyed tinkering on the family farm, playing Euchre and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving in addition to his wife of 42 years is their daughter, Katie (Jim) Mazza, his granddaughters, Jaiden Bentley and Eva-Rae, two brothers in law, Dwight (Pemba) Harder, Lee Harder, a sister in law, Sheila Rennoldson and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his siblings, Edward, Robert, Jack, Lillian, Shirley, and Thomas Pelcher.
A prayer service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2023 at 3:00 pm at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. Fr. Dennis JJ Mancuso will be celebrant.
