Diane (Bovee) Beardsley

Hunt --- Diane Beardsley of 5373 Bowen Eldridge Road passed away on Thursday, January 18, 2024 in her home. She was born on September 23, 1947 in Batavia, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Ann Nixon Bovee. She married Dale John Beardsley who predeceased her on April 27, 2014.

Diane enjoyed painting, crocheting, gardening, playing the Legend of Zelda, bird watching, riding in the truck with her son David, visiting with friends but most of all she loved her family and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Lynn Marie (Lloyd) Kirwan of Dalton, David (Tina) Beardsley of Short Tract, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a brother, Gary (Katherine) Bovee of Fowlerville, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband and parents.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, January 24, 2024 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Short Tract Fire Hall. Pastor Sam Wolcott will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery, Short Tract.
