Hume --- Dianna Mae Ackerman of 7217 County Road 3 passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, in her daughter’s home. She was born on March 20, 1947, in Farmersville Station, a daughter of the late Louis and Ruth Barnes Payne. On October 24, 1964, she married Clayton L. Ackerman who predeceased her on June 18, 2023.

Dianna was formerly employed by Motorola for 10 years, a former bus driver for Fillmore Central School for 10 years and was an Amish Uber for many years.

Surviving are her children, Lisa (Fred) Ackerman Crane of Bliss, Tracy ( Fiancé Shannon McDonald) Crane of Freedom, her grandchildren, John M. (Bethany) Borer of Freedom, Amanda (Ian) Lynch of TN, Justin Kent of AR, Michael (Dawn) Williams of Holland, Cody (Nicole) Williams of Arcade, Steven (Alyssa Vandemortel) Williams of Freedom, Jordan (Steven Rybak) Williams of Buffalo, Dillon (Cheyenne) Crane of OH, Alexia (Rob) Crane of Delevan, 25 great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, her brother, Robert Payne of Augusta, GA, a son-in-law, John Gould of Fillmore and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and her parents she was predeceased by a son, Tim Alan Ackerman, a daughter, Sally Lynne Gould, three brothers, Louis Payne, Dwayne Payne and James Payne.

Per Dianna’s request there will be no services. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.

Memorials if desired to: Fillmore Rescue Squad or Homecare and Hospice of Allegany County.
