Donna L. (Vedder) Brown

Portageville --- Donna L. Brown of 11999 Route 19A died Monday, May 6, 2024, in Olean General Hospital. She was born on June 16, 1938, in Fillmore, a daughter of the late Ivan and Marjorie Silliman Vedder. On November 29, 1957, she married Francis ‟Buster” L. Brown who predeceased her on February 22, 2018.

Donna was a former farmer with her husband. She enjoyed antiquing, gardening, taking rides around the area, studying local history and lending a helping hand to anyone who needed help.

Most of all Donna loved her family and their family gatherings.

Surviving are her children, Francis L. Brown Jr. of Portageville, Bambi (Dan) Walden of Rushford, Deanne (Jerry) Marshall of Fillmore, Anjanette (Carl) Maines of Portageville, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Jeanette Moore of Pace, Florida, Sidney Potter of Fillmore and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a brother, Robert Vedder and a step-grandson, Jason Marshall.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2024, at 11:00 am in Alger Cemetery, Fillmore. Pastor Sam Wolcott will officiate.
