Dora M. Harris

Short Tract---Dora M. Harris, a former resident of Short Tract, died Monday, January 5, 2015 in the Absolut at Houghton nursing home. She was born on October 4, 1919 in Cuba. She married James ″Jim″ Harris who predeceased her in 1981.

She loved to dance, play cards, but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Surviving are a son, David Harris of Tennessee, a daughter, Donna Garwood of Texas, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by a son, Reed Harris.

A graveside service will be held in Short Tract Cemetery on May 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m.
