Emanuel E. Girod Sr.

Centerville --- Emanuel E. Girod Sr. of 11221 Fitch Farm Road entered into Eternal Rest on Tuesday, November 16, 2021 in his home. He was born on September 17, 1957 in Lancaster, PA, a son of the late Ernest and Veronica Schwartz Girod. On October 1, 1991 he married Naomi Fisher who survives.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his children, Simon (Dorothy) Girod, Rosie (Alvin) Hershberger, Emanuel (Rhoda Ann) Girod, Miriam (Ernest) Brenneman, Esther (Raymond) Miller, Jacob (Lizzie) Girod, 40 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, his mother in law, Rosie Byler, his step-mother, Rachel Girod, six brothers, five sisters and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his 1 ^st wife Emma Byler, a grandson, a brother and a sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 at 9:00 am at Enos Girod’s Residence, 10151 County Road 23, Hume, NY 14745. Melvin Miller will be officiating. Burial will be in Amish Community Cemetery, Centerville.
