Eric Owen Blom

Centerville --- Eric Owen Blom of 10613 Fairview Road went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, April 15, 2024 in Olean General Hospital. He was born on April 21, 1954 in Olean, a son of the late Frederick and Mildred Jean Blom. On June 16, 1990 in Sardina he married Virginia Baker who survives.

Eric was an active member at Central Baptist Church in Yorkshire, a member of the NRA, as well as an NRA Instructor, and a member of the New York State Rifle and Pistol Association.

An avid motorcyclist, Eric enjoyed long cross country trips on his Harley Davidson. He was a hunter and enjoyed his home in Centerville where he would tinker and preform different tasks around his home. Eric also enjoyed sharing about his savior, Jesus Christ, whenever he could.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a son, a daughter, his brother, Fred Blom of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 am in the Central Baptist Church, 12045 Old Olean Rd, Yorkshire. Pastor Ben Phillips will officiate.
