Gary L. Cox

Nunda --- Gary L. Cox, a former resident of Nunda, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 in Englewood, Florida. He was born on July 16, 1949 in Warsaw, a son of Ralph and V. Rosalea VanDruff Cox.

Gary was a graduate of the former Nunda Central School, class of 1967, and received his Bachelor’s Degree from RIT.

He enjoyed woodworking, cooking, painting, photography, tinkering on his vehicles, surfing the internet and most of all he loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Gary also enjoyed watching the Buffalo Bills and the Atlanta Braves.

Surviving in addition to his mother, Rose Cox of Geneseo, are his siblings; Larry (Pam) Cox of Anderson, SC, Janice (William) Hudson of Nunda, Randy (Marcie) Cox of Nunda, Jody (Chandler) Cutting of Hummelstown, PA, Renee (David) Fanaro of Leicester and many beloved nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father on June 27, 2018.

A private graveside service will be held in Oakwood Cemetery, Nunda. Pastor Chandler Cutting, Gary’s brother-in-law, will officiate.
