Jack E Sherlock

Short Tract --- Jack E. Sherlock of 5940 Botsford Hollow Road, Town of Allen, died Saturday, July 28, 2018 in Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility, Warsaw. He was born on July 4, 1936 in Buffalo, a son of the late Emmett and Evelyn Carey Sherlock. He married Carol Minnier who predeceased him in 1994.

Jack was a former employee of the Fillmore Gas Station and a life member of the Short Tract Fire Department.

He loved talking with his neighbors, reading, listening to country music and working on the farm.

Surviving is a son, Michael (Sherri) Sherlock of Fillmore, seven grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a son Jesse J. Sherlock and a grandson, Josh Sherlock.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 pm and 7:00 to 9:00 pm on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at 11:00 am. Joel Stroud, pastor of the Hume Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
