Jacob J. Hoffman

Fillmore --- Jacob J. Hoffman of 10147 Route 19 died Monday, July 1, 2024 in Pines Health Care, Machias. He was born on September 21, 1926 in Wyalusing, PA, a son of the late Conry and Edith Crowl Hoffman. He married Marie Potter who predeceased him.

Jake was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1944 to 1946 and a former foreman for Eastman Kodak in Rochester. He attended Centerville United Methodist Church.

Surviving is a daughter in law, Gail Hoffman of Fillmore, a grandson, Jeffrey Hoffman of Fillmore and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and parents he was predeceased by a son, James Hoffman.

Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Thursday, July 11, 2024 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 11:00 am. Pastor Bob Schooley will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Fillmore.
