Janett Marie (Bernstine) Mura

Caneadea --- Janett Marie Mura, a former resident of Caneadea, passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 in Walling, Tennessee. She was born on September 22, 1938 in Rochester, a daughter of the late John and Cecilia Lawson Bernstine. On March 2, 1957 in Greece, NY she married William F. Mura who predeceased her on March 25, 2022.

Janett was a former bus driver for Belfast Central School, a former leader of the Caneadea Aggies 4-H Club and a former member of the Caneadea Volunteer Fire Department.

She was a master gardener and enjoyed gardening in all of the fields on the family farm and loved ALL animals.

Surviving are her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a special niece; Terry Schultz and special friends; Ken and Cindy, Paul and Vickie, and James and Aubrey.

The family would like to extend a special thanks her caregiving girls for all the love and laughs.

A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family at a later date.
