John A. Horstmann

Belfast --- John A. Horstmann of 104 S. Main Street died Thursday, August 6, 2019 in his home. He was born on May 21, 1950 in Wadena, Minnesota, a son of the late Joseph and Esther Thesing.

John enjoyed playing cards, fishing, excavating and contract building. He was a good person and will be missed by his friends and family.

Surviving are his daughters, Bonnie Stebbins of Wellsville, Dominique Fischer of Fillmore, Megan Kozlowski of Belmont, 11 grandchildren, five brothers, Joe (yvonne) Horstmann Jr., Roger Horstmann, Mike Horstmann, Robert Horstmann, Brian Horstmann, a sister, Theresa Horstmann and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by two daughters, Sara Fischer and Rachel Horstmann.

A memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
