John A. Kopler

Rush---John A. Kopler of 55 W. Rush Road died Saturday, December 18, 2021 in Highland Hospital, Rochester. He was born on January 10, 1939 in Fillmore, a son of the late Wilson and Vera Steadman Kopler. On April 5, 1958 in Hume he married Suzanne Wolfer who survives.

John was a former employee of R.G.&E and enjoyed wood working where he would make toys that he donated to various organizations. He also enjoyed carpentry and donating numerous items to the Hume Museum.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Karen (Howard) Waid of Livingston, Texas and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was predeceased by a son, Robert Wilson Kopler in 2007, and a brother, Gaylord Lee Kopler in 2006.

Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Monday, December 27, 2021 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 N. Genesee St., Fillmore. Burial will be in Rush Pine Hill Cemetery, Rush.
