Joyce M. Howard

Fillmore --- Joyce M. Howard of 10479 Bernard Street, died Thursday, March 13, 2014 in Buffalo General Hospital.  She was born on June 22, 1964 in Lockport, a daughter of Russell Jr. and Marilyn Roe Zemke.  She married James L. Howard, who survives and was formerly married to Todd Smith, who survives.

Mrs. Howard loved bowling, golfing, hunting and was an avid outdoorsman.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are her children, Leah (Phil) Myers of Piffard, Jessica Smith of Fillmore, Tyler Smith of Fillmore, her step-children, Scott (Melissa) Howard of Attica, Eric (Lisa) Howard of Springville, Kevin (Amanda Giamerone) Howard of Kenmore, three grandchildren, Chloe Myers, Zakry Howard, Jake Howard, a sister, Laura (Steve) Haak of South Whales, Cheryl Beaver of Arizona, a brother, Russell Zemke III of Fillmore and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her father and a sister Linda Shear.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Monday, March 17, 2014 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore.  A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
