Laura C. Mcniel

Rochester---Laura C. McNiel of Rochester, died May 17, 2016 in her home. She was born on May 31, 1963 in Warsaw, a daughter of the late Harold and Carol Laity McNiel.

Laura was a 1981 graduate of Fillmore Central School and received her bachelor’s degree from Houghton College. She was a social worker.

Surviving are her sisters and brother, Julie (Dan) McCollister of Ithaca, Sue McNiel of Fillmore, Edith McNiel (Tom Kreuzer) of Buffalo, Richard (Sharon) McNiel of Rochester, Marian (Bill) McNiel Simms of Rochester and one niece and three nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 1:00 to 3:00 on Saturday May 21, 2016 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 North Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial: Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Houghton.
