Lynn Joseph Fiegl

Smethport, PA --- Lynn Joseph Fiegl of Smethport, PA and a former resident of Centerville died Saturday, May 3, 2025, in Olean General Hospital. He was born on March 31, 1935, in Fillmore, a son of the late Eugene and Lois Eldridge Fiegl. He married Carolyn Abrams who predeceased him on September 1, 2013.

Lynn was a veteran of the United States Army serving from 1953 to 1956. He was a former butcher for the former Market Basket in Fillmore and a former store manager for the Market Basket in Galton and Smethport, PA.

He was a member of the Smethport Fire Department, a former driver for the Smethport Ambulance, an avid woodworker and an antique John Deere Tractor Enthusiast.

Surviving are his children, Linda (Joseph) Ellis of Ocala, FL, Ron (Polly) Fiegl of Chambersburg, PA, three grandchildren, Bryce Fiegl, Grace Fiegl, Jack Fiegl, two sisters, Arlene Vosburg of Centerville, Lenore Sylor of Warsaw and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his wife and his parents he was predeceased by two brothers, Lawrence Fiegl and Neal Fiegl.

A memorial service will be held in Centerville Cemetery and will be announced.
