Marcella J. (Norton) Cartwright

Wayland --- Marcella J. Cartwright of 8919 Story Road passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 in Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville. She was born on May 29, 1932 in Rochester, Minnesota, a daughter of the late Dewey and Thelma Rathbun Norton. She married Leonard Cartwright who predeceased her on November 15, 1993.

Marcella enjoyed visiting friends at the Garden of Life in Mt. Morris and she loved life, cooking, coloring, painting, all types of animals, country music, traveling and especially spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Rebecca Cartwright of Rochester, Debbie Cartwright of Florida, James Cartwright of Portage, Penny Cartwright of Springwater, Kathy (Richard) Baird of Carlisle, PA, Randy (Linda) Cartwright of Conesus, Terry (Cheryl) Cartwright of Hunt, 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a son, Junior Cartwright and a grandson, Justin Lee Cartwright.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Sunday, November 20, 2022 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022 at 11:00 am. Joel Stroud, pastor of the Hume Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery. Short Tract.
