Marguerite A. (Hall) Brown

Fillmore --- Marguerite A. Brown of 11750 Armison Road passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024, in the Suzanne’s Comfort Home in Perry. She was born on September 1, 1943, in Angelica, a daughter of the late Donald Hall Sr and Alberta Wilcox Goulin. She married Stuart P. Brown who predeceased her on October 19, 2003. On February 17, 2007, she married Robert Brown who survives.

Marguerite was a former personal director for the Absolut at Houghton, a former employee of Motorola in Arcade and a former baker for Max’s Bakery in Wiscoy.

She attended the Fillmore Wesleyan Church and enjoyed quilting and puzzles but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving in addition to her husband are her children, Richard (Melanie) French of Avon, Darlene French of North Carolina, Shane (Deb) French of Sparrowbush, John (Jen) French of Friendship, Rebecca (Michael) Teeter of Macedon, her step-children, Cody (Amanda) Brown of Attica, Forrest (April) Brown of Bliss, Denise (Tim) Atherton of Belfast, Travis Brown of Belfast, Patricia Brown Clark of Fillmore, Gregory (Katherine) Brown of Kingsland, GA, Tom Brown of Stuart, FL, Wendy Byrd of Florida, 33 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, her siblings, Ronald (Yo) Hall of North Carolina, Sarah (Forrest) Hall of Allegany, Julia (Nick) George of Hartsville, Donald (Helen) Angola of Indiana, Donna Hopkins Woodbine, Georgia, Dennis (Julie) Hall of Fillmore and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a brother, Steven Hall, two grandsons, Richard French Jr., Derrick French, and a granddaughter, Tyffani French.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 24, 2024, in the Fillmore Wesleyan Church where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm. Pastor Toni James will officiate. Burial will be in Pennycook Cemetery, Town of Portage at a later date.
