Marilyn M. (Roe) Zemke

Hume --- Marilyn M. Zemke of 7578 Trall Road passed away on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 in Pike. She was born on June 12, 1936 in Candor, a daughter of the late Gerald and Marjorie Hulslander Roe. She married Russell Zemke Jr. who predeceased her in 1992.

Marilyn was a graduate of Sweet Home High School and was a former Occupational Therapist for Manor Oak Nursing Home in Warsaw. She also volunteered for the Red Cross and taught first aid and EMT courses.

Marilyn enjoyed playing cards and teaching her family how to play pinochle.

Surviving are her children, Laura (Steve) Haak of South Wales, Cheryl Beaver of Scottsdale, AZ, Russell C. Zemke III of Buffalo, nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, a sister, Carol Grad of Rochester and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by two daughters, Linda Shear and Joyce Howard and a grandson, Dylan Beaver.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, Aug 2, 2023 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore.
