Marlene Marian (Abbotoy) Kelley Cochran

Hinsdale --- Marlene Marian Kelley Cochran a former resident of Short Tract died Friday, February 27, 2015 in Olean General Hospital. She was born on January 29, 1933 in Buffalo a daughter of the late Raymond and Viola Schubert Abbotoy.  She married Leo Joseph Kelley II who predeceased her in September 1995, she then married Frederick Cochran who predeceased her.

Marlene was a member of the Courtland Baptist Church, Courtland, VA where she belonged to various senior groups within the area.  She enjoyed many activities which included gardening, knitting, crocheting, dancing to the music of the Kelley Mountain Boys which included her sons Terry and Ray, puzzles, games, music, meeting new people and her poodle Snoopy.

Surviving are her children, Rodney Kelley of Allegany, Terry (Sandra) Kelley of Fillmore, Raymond Kelley of Olean, Renee (Daniel) Taylor of Gloucester, VA, 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Bill (Pat) Abbotoy of Florida, Marvin (Bertha) Abbotoy of Elma, two sisters, Sharon (Jerry) Dingman of Franklinville, Noreen Saemenes of Cheektowaga, six step children, Tom (Karen) Cochran of Port Allegany, PA, Jean (Bill) Rothermill of Smethport, PA, Rick (Tracy) Cochran of Port Allegany, PA, Steve (Sandra) Cochran of Hopewell, VA, Joseph (Angela) Cochran of Texas, Duncan (Donna) Cochran of Tennessee, several step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and two husbands she was predeceased by three sons, Randall Leon Kelley in 1977, Jody Les Kelley in 1988, Leo Joseph Kelley III in 1992 and two grandchildren, Shane and Ashley.

Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N. Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m.  Tom Cochran, Marlene’s step-son, will officiate.  Burial will be in Holland Cemetery.
