Mary R. (Rapalje) Williams

East Aurora --- Mary R. Williams, a former resident of East Aurora, died Thursday, January 16, 2025, in the Houghton Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She was born on June 10, 1945, in Roanoke, VA, a daughter of the late Daniel and Mary Hollyfield Rapalje.

Mary enjoyed walks with her dog at Knox Farm, playing, singing and listening to music, tennis & cross-country skiing.

Surviving are her children, Elizabeth Kaufman (nee Williams) of Pennsylvania, Roger Williams Jr of California, two grandchildren, Allan Kaufman, Dara Kaufman, a sister, Susan Martin (nee Rapalje), two brothers, Charles Rapalje, Dan Rapalje, and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.

The family asks in lieu of flowers, please make a donation or plant a tree at Knox Farm State Park (www.friendsofknoxfarm.org), a place she dearly loved.
