Mary Jo (Warren) Sherlock

Nunda --- Mary Jo Sherlock of 67 Mill Street passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 surrounded by her children in Noyes Memorial Hospital, Dansville. She was born on May 9, 1955 in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania, a daughter of the late Ivan and Eunice Davis Warren.

Mary Jo enjoyed playing cards, especially rummy, riding around on golf carts with her youngest son, watching the Price is Right and Dr. Pol and her cat, Ava, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Surviving are her children, Heather (Gordon) Cobin of Hunt, Stacy Wright of Nunda, Aaron (Katrina) Sherlock of Short Tract, Christopher Sherlock of Perry, eight grandchildren, Carrie (Enty) Lourens of Ohio, Brooklyn Cobin of Angelica, Morgan Cobin of Hunt, Hannah McCallum of Castile, Courtney McCallum of Nunda, Hailey Sherlock of Dalton, Kelsey Sherlock of Nunda, Erin Sherlock of Short Tract, three great-grandsons, her siblings, Bruce (Esther) Warren of Wellsboro, PA, Elsie Johnston of Portland, OR, Edith “Dede” (Tony) Vianese of Lima, a brother-in-law, Lloyd Gibson of Georgia and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Betty Gibson and a brother-in-law, Gerald Johnston.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in the summer.
