Machias --- Myra Sue Francis, a former resident of 3204 Hazelmere Avenue, died Friday, June 29, 2018 in Olean General Hospital. She was born on December 10, 1940 in Rushford, a daughter of the late Myron and Leona Catlin Francis.

Myra attended the Linwood Center for many years and was an active participant in the special friends’ camp at Odosagih. She also loved all animals, especially cats.

Surviving is a brother, James (Martha) Francis of N. Tonawanda, a niece, Barbara (Chris) Franklin of Wheatfield, a great-niece, Monica Franklin and her care giver, Mary Ann White of Machias.

Family and friends may gather from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm on Friday, July 6, 2018 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 pm. Art McElheny will officiate. Burial will be in White Cemetery, Rushford.
