Pamela James

Hunt --- Pamela Wynne ‟Pam″ James of 5030 Sonnleitner Road died Friday, October 3, 2014 in Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.  She was born on March 10, 1955 in Cuba, a daughter of the late Oliver and Violet Wilcox Sonnleitner.  On April 4, 1973 in Short Tract she married Michael L. James who survives.

Pam was a graduate of Fillmore Central School, class of 1973. She was a mortgage originator for Steuben Trust in Hornell. She was a talented seamstress and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband are their children, Vanessa (Mark) Cone of Boston , MA, Cassandra (Markus) Hugi of Nunda, Curtis (Nicole) James of Short Tract, nine grandchildren; Alexandra, Isabella, Lillianna, and Korben Hugi; Owen, Heather, Allison, Carly, and Maddalynn James and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may gather from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home, 21 N Genesee Street, Fillmore. A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 3:00 pm in the Short Tract United Methodist Church. Troy Sonnleitner, a nephew of Pam will officiate. Burial will be in Short Tract Cemetery.
