Phyllis M. (Davis) Osgood

Houghton---Phyllis M. Osgood of 9663 Route 19 died Monday, August 30, 2021 in the Houghton Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility.  She was born on June 3, 1925 in Shinglehouse, PA a daughter of the late LeRoy and Mary Clark Davis. On January 26, 1951 in Cuba she married Charles “Ted” Osgood who predeceased her on April 23, 2005.

Phyllis was a member of the Houghton Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed bowling, her animals, going out to eat at the Charcoal Corral and most of all spending time with her family.

Surviving are two sons, Scott (Patti) Osgood of Cuba, Kevin (Cindy) Osgood of Chittenango, 6 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, a brother, Dean (Bonnie) Davis of Bolivar and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents she was predeceased by a daughter, Sheryl Osgood in 1992 and a sister, Lois Cline.

Family and friends may gather on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm at the Kopler-Williams Funeral Home 21 North Genesee St., Fillmore where a funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm. Rev. Dr. Wesley Oden, pastor of the Houghton Wesleyan Church will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Houghton.
